Caño Island Biological Reserve is one of the best snorkeling spots on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.  Caño island has approximately 300 hectares of land and 5,800 hectares of protected sea. It is considered one of the best places for diving and snorkeling in Costa Rica due to its rich marine biodiversity. The island is home to several coral reefs that host a wide variety of marine species, including sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, manta rays, and an abundance of tropical fish. It is considered a paradise for divers and snorkeling enthusiast a wide variety of marine species, including sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, manta rays, and an abundance of tropical fish. The tour includes a bilingual guide, entrance fees to Isla del Caño, appropriate snorkeling equipment, snacks, lunch, boat transportation, and lots of fun!  The boat ride to Isla del Caño takes about 45 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Stops are made along the way to observe the nature that the ocean may offer such as dolphins, turtles, and pelagic birds, or any other marine life. There are two snorkeling sessions, each lasting one hour, with a break in between on the beach of Isla del Caño for clients to rest and explore the surroundings. A delicious seaside lunch is served at Playa San Josecito, 

one of the best beaches in the area where visitors can swim and walk around.
