PRIVATE TOURS: LA FORTUNA & VOLCANO ARENAL
La Fortuna is located at the base of Volcano Arenal in the Northern/Central part of Costa Rica.
It is the #1 place for vacationers to come because of the biodiversity and the adventures.
Not only are there amazing hikes but you can go floating down a river to see the wildlife,
rappel down waterfalls, zipline along the treetops and so much more!
MALEKU INDIGENOUS RESERVE VISIT & CEREMONY
Our favorite Cultural Tour is a visit with the local Maleku Indigenous Tribe. The reservation is located close to La Fortuna & the famous Volcano Arenal and it is a once in a lifetime experience. If you want to truly see what life was like for the indians and how they respect the land they live off of, this is it. Walk through the reforested jungle, enjoy lunch and a traditional ceremony...very special!
RIO CELESTE, TENORIO VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK HIKE
Rio Celeste is the "oh so blue water" that you see in the photo to the left. It's not an easy hike and the water is not always that blue but after a week of sun (and no rain-which is rare here), it can get that amazing blue color! Even if you don't get to see the "celeste" color of the water, the jungle is thick with animals and is a beautiful time spent in the jungle.
HIKING AROUND VOLCANO ARENAL
There are many options of places to hike around Volcano Arenal. From the easiest & flattest trails that anybody of all physical levels can do to the extreme hikes that require a serious physical condition. Some options for hikes include the Arenal Volcano National Park, 1968, Mirador el Silencio, Arenal Observatory, Rio Celeste, Cerro Chato & more. The best way to figure out which hike is right for you is to contact us and we'll help you figure it out!
RIO CAÑO NEGRO WILDLIFE BOAT TOUR
If you appreciate birds & being on a boat to see nature then this is the perfect day trip for you! Flycatchers flying by, herons & egrets all around, monkeys in the trees above you and absolutely NO hiking...if this sounds good to you then this is the perfect day trip for you! If you only want to go along the river, then it's a half day trip. Want to add a Nicaragua stamp to your passport? The river goes to San Carlos, Nicaragua for a nice lunch & a cold Toña (Nicaraguan beer).
ARENAL HANGING BRIDGES HIKE
The best way to see Costa Rica's wildlife is to get out there and walk! Whether it is an early morning tour to catch the animals at their most active, a mid-day tour to see the best views & photos or a nocturnal tour to see those animals not visible during the day...we will take you there! There are many places to visit all throughout Costa Rica so we will help you figure out which is the right place for you!
NIGHT HIKE IN THE JUNGLE
Over 60% of Costa Rica's wildlife is nocturnal so going for a walk in the jungle after dark is the best way to see them! There are many nocturnal mammals, amphibians and reptiles that only are active after dark so this is the best option to see them in their natural habitat. There are several different options of where to go for night hikes based on the weather and your physical abilities. Contact us and we'll help you figure out which one is right for you.
