LA FORTUNA & VOLCANO ARENAL
The best way to see Costa Rica's wildlife is to get out there and walk! Whether it is an early morning tour to catch the animals at their most active, a mid-day tour to see the best views & photos or a nocturnal tour to see those animals not visible during the day...we will take you there! This is also the adventure capital of Costa Rica so you can go White Water River Rafting, rappell down waterfalls, go ziplining and more....all private tours created just for you!
MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST
The Monteverde Cloud Forest is a unique micro climate in the higher elevations of Costa Rica. Monteverde used to be hard to get to so it was only for the very adventurous but now the roads have improved and it's easier to add into your itinerary. It's a bird lover's paradise with unique birds like the Resplendent Quetzel, Bell Bird & Emerald Toucanet (shown left) and hummingbirds galore.
PUERTO VIEJO, CARIBBEAN
Puerto Viejo is located on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica and has a flair all its own. The water is clearer than the Pacific side and everything has the Caribbean flair, including the people and the food. It's a fun place to visit and we have an experienced guide waiting to show you what the jungle has to offer if you know where to look. Click for more information if you're thinking of heading to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
OSA PENINSULA, CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK, CAÑO ISLAND
The Osa Peninsula is one of the wildest places in Costa Rica and is surrounded by miles of coastline on the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the most bio-diverse and bio-dense areas in the country. The area is quite remote so many resorts will be all-inclusive for foods since there are no restaurants around. This is also an area known for snorkeling, diving, whale watching (in-season), dolphins, turtles & more.
MANUEL ANTONIO & QUEPOS AREA
Manuel Antonio National Park is a great place to see animals although it is one of the most visited parks in the country. Is it still worth it? Absolutely! When you go with a professional guide, you'll be amazed at how many animals you would have walked by or under without seeing them. Our professional nature guides have access to a private property bordering the park where they can take you away from the crowds. There are night tours, birding tours and more.
